Icon community has teams all around Electronic gaming, such as a Counter-Strike: Source team, and a DotA team. Those teams were, and still doing perfect on their aspect of gaming, but something was missing from ICON e-Sports.
After many months of inactivity and dissapearence on the Counter-Strike 1.6 scene, ICON team has came back with a fresh new roster. This roster is contained from skilled and "old school" players of Counter-Strike, which the leader of Icon e-Sports Ilias "sunrisE-" Themelis has gathered, who have passed through out some great teams, and been on many tournaments on Greece. Nick ”botaki” Yialousis Team ICON on Counter-Strike 1.6 in the past was one of the top clans on the Greek fields, and they were having some great successes. The last tournament ICON participated 6 months ago, was on the Digital Technology Entertainment Tournament, were Ilias "sunrisE-" Themelis was involved in a fist fight and was banned from all ESL events for a year, seemed to be the last tournament for them, because of anti-professionalism and irresponsibility of their leader. ESL.gr admins believe that Ilias understood his mistake, and can now participate again on every tournament, with his team ICON e-Sports. We wish good luck to Icon's new roster, and good luck on every tournament that they will participate on the future.
